I noticed some users have tried making scratch awards. I had an idea, how about the Scratch Team select the best projects. m71134 came up with a list for a scratch awards:

Here are the categories:

AWARDS FOR PROJECTS
Best Scratch Project
Best Animation Project
Best Game Project
Best  Art Project
Best Music Project
Best Simulation Project
Best Story Project
Best Physics Project
Best Text Based Game

AWARDS FOR USERS
Most Helpful Scratch User
Scratch User with the Most Projects Posted
Most Creative Scratch User
Best Overall Scratch User

Please don't take this the wrong way. I think this could let more people see the good projects on scratch and inspire more great stuff
