I've been dreaming of a better paint editor and here are some suggestions I've come up with so far!
* Transparencies, which only work with layers, so layers, too.
* RGB colour palette, along with hex, and the normal one, with some options (brightness slider, hue, saturation, etc. and the ability to store colours you've previously made that are not on the default palette)
* More than one font size and typeface per sprite
* Curve line effect
* Line width in square and circle drawing
* Lassoo select (allowing you to select an irregular portion of a sprite)
* Crop to Selection (It's so hard without this tool!)
* Larger undo history, also add select tool to it.

Layers would be awesome (I kinda do make my own right now, just leaving the top of where I want the sprite), so would RGB, hue, etc. I wouldn't mind the curve line effect. Lasso would be useful, as well as the history
To change the width of squares/circles®, change the pen width. Then go back to the square/circle®, and it changed. And use the select to to do minor croppings.

I know, but it would be easier to just have it's own little menu.

Yeah, it would be easier, but it's not a necessity. Now the curve line, layers, and undo history are greatly appreciated, as well as automatically centering all costumes. I get really mad because i have to hand center my costumes.

Quite frankly, I want to be able to copy and paste directly into Scratch. Then, I do not have to save certain files in my documents! I need screenshots for my next project, and it would be so much easier if I could just copy them directly.................

Copy and paste would be a great time saver. Great idea!
