on my desktop when I click the shortcut or any button to get to scratch it doesn't work it happened when I was putting in codes for the browser there.

Just go to My Documents > Scratch Projects, and drag them onto the desktop. It's that simple!

I did what you said but for some reason when I re download when I click it still doesn't work.

Is the problem about the shortcut or the program?
Try this:
1. Press Windows + R
2. Type/Paste "C:\Program Files\Scratch\Scratch.exe" (without the quotation marks) in the text box.
3. Press Enter.
Does Scratch open?

You can download Scratch again and it shouldn't affect your project files. It will leave them alone. Reinstalling Scratch usually cures any problems with the shortcuts...unless it's a shortcut you made yourself somehow. You might try deleting the shortcut and then reinstalling. Hope that helps
