'Symantic antivirus might be out of date'

Does anyone know if this message in the bottom right may be a virus?

I will run malwarebytes if yes, but it takes FOREVER to scan.

If the message is contained within the web browser then yes, exit the webpage. Sometimes when navigating around webpages it will open what seems to be a virus scanner. Close it immediately. If you're truly worried then check the antivirus software itself by scheduling a check or whatever you do with Symantic.

No, it's in the taskbar corner, in the lower right.

You have to renew your subscription or you won't have protection, or you have to update your anti-virus.
