Oh what a coincidence - [removed] is the name of the Grandma in my teenage Little Red Riding Hood story.
Well, report them but you probably know. XD

@Posts 53 to 56: I don't think you guys should be "naming names" of people who have done wrong Admittedly, commercial spam gets on my nerves, too... but still... I've seen other users' posts that have been edited for naming names... I'm not sure where the boundaries lie on this issue... but I'm going to assume that the same rules apply to all "naming names" issues...

It should also be ironically noted that this is a spam topic and that post is considered spam

Also, spam is posting meaningless comments. Example:
You make a project about how to care for puppies. You get comments like:
u1:I like pie.
u2:hdsfkjysdui34
u3:Can I get some waffles please?
u4:hi i am hsjd i am skh i love kdhds
and many more. I would like this in the first post, please. Also, the best type of comments are these:
You make a project about caring for puppies. You get comments like:
U1:Cool! I needed help on that. I just got a puppy! Though we learned the hard way that you should either brush him every week or give him a bath every 6 months.
U2:I agree with the comment above. I learned that too.
U3:I like it! You should adjust the format of the tips & tricks, though. It's pretty cluttered to me.
Author:Okay, I'll add all of your suggestions in an update.
That is the best way to comment. And if you do not have a good way to say what you would like to say, then don't say it.
EDIT:There should be a Terms of Use forum, where you discuss the Terms of Use, put in personal thoughts, and discuss things like spam, trolling and flaming.

Yeah, I agree. I saw a project called Forward by soupoftomato, and i liked it. I told him so and asked him to check out one of my scratch projects. Then he claimed I was spamming him! And then... he sent my a link to this forum! A forum that I just realized supports my viewpoint!

Wow! This is very useful to know at times! Also check this out: (link to project) ! No, just joking. It isn't even a link. Really. Try clicking on it.
Anyway, I think this topic is very useful to newbies on Scratch!
I also have a forum about how to "spam" of the same name: http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?id=36964 . It isn't actually about how you spam, but, rather how to post links onto other projects kindly without spamming. Hope you keep up the good... foruming? Have a good day.

Another flavor of spam would be fake fake linking. That is when you make a link that SAYS this site, when clicking on it really brings you to that site.
Example:
http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/m44/314590
will bring you to youfail.org, instead of a scratch project.
0-0!!! How does THAT happen?

The same way ppl make "Click Here" links, they just put in a real link instead of text.

I found out an new kind of spam on Scratch: Putting in totally useless and unusually random comments. On 2 of my projects, some Scratcher (I forgot the username) put in two random comments that said "hi" and "hvvvfhjvb bdbhh hcbdcbcvhbvbfhgfh". So there's a new flavor of spam on Scratch.

This post I just quoted is another example of online spamming, because it has no meaning at all and it is useless.
Hey, I'm getting good at catching spammers! Now I can delete spam comments on mine and other people's projects! LET'S ALL PREVENT SPAM ON SCRATCH!

Kinda, cuz you're not talking about the computer spam. Computer spam doesn't taste like corned beef (XD, why did I say that?).
