Using an epic website, http://www.*/home/ , I have been able to place an image in my signature that will show a random "tip" for being a Scratcher every time the page is loaded. big_smile

There are only 10 tips, and an ad for the mod election.

Share your own tips! I need more! and also state whether it is a forum, website, or program tip.

Example:

WEBSITE TIP: don't advertise a project unless you have made a decent amount of progress. Doing so will prevent disappointed fans.

Animating tip: Use broadcasting to get more accurate timings then just using "wait ___ seconds."

Sorry to be buggy, but one of your program tips has a typo tongue :

Project too big to upload? Cick on the "Edit" and use the compress sound/images button to reduce file size

How about this one (website tip): "Get involved! One of the best ways to get project views and make friends on the Scratch website is to post meaningful comments on other Scratcher's projects." EDIT: Beh, nevermind, I see you already have one tip like that. tongue

Cool! This opens up a new door for signature ideas. The way you are using it is great! wink The link you posted does not work, but I found that it works without the www. in front of it. Also when I right clicked on your signature I found another image rotatation site. http://www.*/home/ What is the difference between the two sites?

Website Tip: Try to stick to one accout on the website. It will be easier for people to know who you are, instead of making new accounts.

I like the idea! I might combine it with a tip about "test accounts" though.

Sometimes creating a "test" account for your unfinished projects can be useful. Don't create too many though, limiting yourself to two accounts is best if you want people to remember who you are!

Programming tip (I've said before):
When making a script for something, try to condense scripts so that you don't have 3 for one small action. At the same time, don't cram everything into one script. Either way will cause lag.
