More space to write project notes...

I've always despised the tiny space they give your to write project notes in.

I'd like it to be bigger... Is this possible?

Re: More space to write project notes...

Yeah... it's frustrating sometimes - such a small space...

Hmph enjoy your fall - I get a lovely spring... without pans of new leaves.

Re: More space to write project notes...

Yes, I definitely support. Maybe when you click to edit the notes, a new page would come up. That way, you would have an entire page to work on. When you click [Save] or [Cancel], it goes back to your project page.

Just like it. I don't mind the position, it's just that the actual workspace is tiny.

Re: More space to write project notes...

i support this 100%.

95% of teens would cry if they saw the Jonas Brothers at the top of a sky scraper about to jump. If you are in the 5% who would grab some popcorn and then go get a nice seat to watch and start chanting JUMP! JUMP! JUMP! JUMP! then copy and paste this in your sig.

I agree entirely. I've always hated that tiny little box. Even the comment box is bigger  smile

Re: More space to write project notes...

Ah - just to clarify, you mean space for project notes on the project page, not the space in Scratch before you upload the project?

If so - you are right - this would be nice! As a workaround, pasting from google docs or another editor is a really good idea.

If we were to change the way it works on the page itself, what might that look like? How would it work? If you guys really feel strongly about this one, and it seems like a high priority, make a mockup Scratch project - that always helps sell a suggestion!

I support, but couldn't you just put it in comments in the scripting area?

Re: More space to write project notes...

Just extending the box a little bit further would do well...

Re: More space to write project notes...

I think that extending the box sideways would be helpful, along with maybe a title font with a lower font? I just think that it would look nicer that way.

Along with a WYSIWYG editor, integration to MS Word, ability to import photos, mini-Scratch built-in...

Kidding  smile  But the WYSIWYG sounds handy...

Re: More space to write project notes...

Something like the YouTube video notes box, below the player. It can expand, de-spand (or whatever) and has a ton of space to write long notes in. That's the kind of thing I really want to see.

MORE SPACE?

Try this. It has very long project notes.

He means more space to write them. You already get an unlimited amount of space to put your project notes.

Re: More space to write project notes...

I support! It's difficult to highlight-delete stuff in that little box... you have to hold down backspace... which takes longer, and is less accurate  hmm
