Does it seem that every single new project in scratch seems to be just a background and a sprite. Is this just pointless? People used to share their projects because they were good and wanted other people to play them. Now about 25% of projects are for gallery clans, all to do with wolves and cats. Which unless your in the gallery, no-one eles really wants to see it. About 50% of projects and things that only have a couple of sprites and scripts that don't work.
Is scratch slowly turning into half a chatroom and half a load of pointless watse of time projects?

People are just sharing whatever they like. It has always been that way.

They have the right to do what they love doing, don't they?

Also, remember that first-time scratch users -- who may be really young, like 7 and 8 -- often test out the system by uploading their initial little projects (usually a couple sprites and a background), and are rewarded by seeing their project on the main page, which is great, and gets them to work on more complicated projects.

if u dont lyk their projects, then keep moving on and ignore it. as long as one person lyks it, it deserves to be up here

This is hardly a new phenomenem. A lot of folks are testing the upload system.

If they were just testing the upload system they wouldn't have 50 projects like that
