scratch on wii WiFi

I hooked my wii up to WiFi yesterday and tried to go to scratch but it said it was unscripable.

Re: scratch on wii WiFi

Yeah, the wii doesn't have a java browser plugin, so scratch wont work.
Scratch 2.0, using flash or html 5 may work on the Wii.

Re: scratch on wii WiFi

There is, however a way that you can "MacGyver" the Wii to work for Scratch. I forget the exact program, but there is a way to turn the Wii into a "mouse" and control the mouse-pointer, which allows it to be used for Scratch.

I've taken a long hiatus, but I still visit sometimes. Give me some time to answer any messages you post on my projects!

Yeah, "MacGyver" is a good name for it!

It's not too bad, if you have the right bluetooth driver "stack".

Here's how to use a wiimote as keyboard and mouse, and tilt sensing for scratch:
