Even more so: I made the blocks, and I'm in Panther, but "...anyone other than Panther can use the blocks in it. Panther people are jerks." So I can't use my own blocks?

Didn't say they WANTED credit? REALLY? You give credit when you take someones block. Period. It doesn't matter if they told you to give them credit or not. That's like saying, "Here, check out my new collection of light bulbs, all of which I invented" when you have a collection of incandescent, fluorescent, and neon bulbs.

I've got to agree with nXIII. In the real world, if you, for instance, use a paper for secondary research, and do not cite it, in a university thesis, you will:
1) Recieve ZERO on that thesis
2) Most likely FAIL the course
3) Depending on the severity, you could be KICKED OUT, and lose your entire tuition.
4) You can also be put on record, and refused not just re-admission, but admission to ANY university that checks that record.
5) If you breach copyright laws, you could get a criminal record.

If you plagiarise for work, or any other corporate use, you will be:
1) Possibly FIRED
2) Possibly SUED
3) You will lose your credibility amonsgt the community which you plaigarise in, whether it be scientific, historical, etc.
4) Again in this case, you could get a criminal record.

Especially with software, where if you steal code and use it for commercial purposes you will likely have your ******* sued off and lose any marketing potential that you had before.

And in the professional world, it is very unprofessional  to say "Ooh, look what I did, make sure to give me credit!" It is expected that anyone who uses your hard work for their benefit at least do so.

Now, I understand that you are possibly fairly young, and that no harm really came of this. In this case, also, scratch is a tight enough community that the URL block is fairly well known. So I do not plan to do any of these things. However, it is never too early to learn to give credit, because of not only the possibly consequences outlined above, but also the fact that it is the right thing to do, and not doing so is like stealing.

I apologise for my little rant, however I hope that it gives you enough of a reality check to understand why there is so much controversy on this thread.

I put it where I wanted it, then alt-clicked it until it was surrounded by the circles, than clicked the red menu circle, than clicked embed, than where I wanted it embedded.

And Meep? With some cheesy web browser I could make in 5-10 min? I don't think so...

Meep will have more than a web browser. It will have something for developing morphs, as well as sending sprites, costumes, and sounds over mesh, a mesh chat window, and more.
