Thanks to everyone who volunteered to help the Scratch community by being a community moderator! There were a lot of great candidates. In the end we chose 8 Scratchers who we felt were best prepared to moderate according to the Scratch community moderator guidelines, and the criteria on the Scratch community moderators page.

The candidates are: (in random order)

fullmoon
Wolfie1996
TheSaint
Dazachi
coolstuff
illusionist
juststickman
demosthenes

The polls will open tomorrow. (More information to come).
If you weren't chosen this time, please do consider running again. Just because you weren't selected to run in this election _does not_ mean you won't be chosen in the next one.

Those are really good choices. All of them would be good moderators. Too bad all of them can't be moderators.

Wow! Thank you so much for putting on the candidate list smile I'm honored. All the candidates on the list look great I can't wait to see the decisions big_smile

Woot! Congrats to all! wink I'm not on the list, but I don't care. This is a great time for everyone! I've been celebrating also! I will definitely run again, when available.. Good luck to you all in the election, I have a sticker to post on your signatures for all who vote! Voting always makes a difference. Good luck and have fun. Also HUGE thanks to the Scratch Team. Really for this opportunity is awesome! Scratch gets better every day!

One question, what program will we use for voting? Selecrity? (sp?)

I think we should use Selecrity as I liked be able to rank candidates, gives you more of a voice even if your number one candidate has no chance of making it.

Is it? I thought that they would stay a mod for atleast 4 months, and choose if they would want to keep going. And do you really think so? Be honest, it's OK.
