Pokérus is a virus that your pokemon can get by battling a lot, but it is really rare. Basically, it raises the Effort Yield an infected Pokémon can get from battling and gaining experience. It wears off in two days, but if you keep it in your PC, it can stay there forever. You can spread Pokérus by putting the infected pokemon in your party.
