UPDATE ~~~ 1 JUNE 2010

I haven't posted anything for a while, but here is another update: I have decided to split the game into parts, so the performance of the game doesn't suffer as much.

Onto the actual game: Golden Grove Zone Act 1 is halfway there! I've added enemies, rings, an invincibility shield, springs and some tough plat-forming. It's going so well!

There's just one thing I am concerned about: the boss. I planned to have a boss at the end of each act, but it looks kinda hard to build... nevertheless, I will try to do it!

PROBLEM! Out of all this good news, there's been a bad point! I planned to upload this game on Friday, 4 June this week, but I can't because I have to go somewhere. Nor can I the day before or the day after, so I either have to work very hard and get it uploaded by Wednesday, 2 June, or upload it on Sunday, 6 June or Monday, 7 June or maybe even the day after that.

Its ok, but its annoying because when you die he keeps telling you the instructions. So after you die 5 times you get ANNOYED!!!!

UPDATE ~~~ 9 JUNE 2010

Just a reminder that part 2 is coming soon!

Part 2 will be a bit longer than part 1, and the boss will be harder, too. I am currently remixing the music for this part - it's sounding echoed, funky and beat box like - it sounds great!

Part 2 should be arriving within the rest of the month. Or if I'm lazy, first week of July. But I won't be lazy, I'll try getting it to you guys ASAP, since within 1 week I got 21 loveits on it!

UPDATE ~~~ 20 JUNE 2010

New music which could be played at the final boss fight (Final Zone) for Sonic The Hedgehog Scratch has been released. Click here to listen to it! 

In the meantime, I am sorry for such a delay for Sonic The Hedgehog Scratch Part 2. It's just that I've been exceedingly busy, homework and all, so I haven't had the time to get it finished and uploaded. But when things are less busy, I will start work on Part 2 again. Sorry, guys!

UPDATE ~~~ 8TH JULY 2010

I've got some real BIG updates to tell you!

First of all, I have decided that 1 act per level is enough. It's boring to make the same level and edit it, and most of all - don't you just get bored of it? So one act per level, it is!

Second of all, I have released some concept art of the Final Boss, music for the Final Boss and you may find various pieces of music lying around my stuff on some projects that are actually BETA music for the next zone of Sonic The Hedgehog Scratch. So you've got loads of things to chew on until the next part of STHS, which leads to...

My final point, which is that the next zone in STHS will be called Theme Park Zone. Also, this zone will be uploaded before (I hope) 15th July 2010. If not, don't worry - I'll be cleared through all my homework, so I'll have time to finish off the zone!!!
