A preview button for signatures

No need to explain - just a preview button so we can try out our signatures!  big_smile

What do you think?  smile

Re: A preview button for signatures

Hmm... good, but not necessary. You can keep your old signature on a clipboard, submit your new signature, and revert back to the old one if it doesn't work.

Re: A preview button for signatures

I agree with Vista4563 - it's not neccessary. It's a good idea, though.

Re: A preview button for signatures

I've wanted this for a while - I'm forever forgetting the[/url] tag in my signature, and once my internet died right when I noticed the mistake (I had saved the signature), so it was stuck with a URL in the middle, looking a bit silly... I support!  big_smile

Re: A preview button for signatures

Would be cool, but they would have to mess with the code to implement it and all that... and I honestly don't think it's worth the hassle. ^^"

http://i52.tinypic.com/5es7t0.png I know what you're thinking! "Neptune! Get rid of those filthy advertisements and give us back the Zarathustra siggy, you horrible person!" Well, don't worry about it, the Zara siggy will be back soon, new and improved! ^^ Meanwhile, just do what the sig tells you to. >.>

I do that, but I hate having a messed up signature when people are on, possibly seeing it.  tongue

It would remove the embarrassment of testing a signature...  tongue

Re: A preview button for signatures

Hmmm... This would be pretty tough to do on the forums, but maybe there's another website somewhere you could use for this? I know there are html sandboxes that let you play around with stuff to see how it looks.... you could probably use one of those to get a feel for how the images / text in your sig will look.

You gave me an idea - why not use the post preview? It'd work, wouldn't it?  yikes

I'm so stupid.  tongue

Nah, you're not stupid. I hadn't thought of that either. In fact, you're a genius for having thought of that!
