I have never said "w00t" outside quotation marks in my life
hey guys, glad to see so much support for Panther, we really are looking forward to our release.
in answer to an earlier question, yes, Panther is being supplied as an image file, so it should work with macs.
we are thinking about changing the save output for files from .sb to .pnt
any problems people have with that?

Ok. So, when is it being released? Tomorrow?

I think you should be able to choose between saving as either .sb or .pnt.

ah, a nice idea, but not really necessary. Scratch can open .pt files, you just right click and select "open with" . However, seeing as all our new blocks and feautures appear as obselete, it's not too goo.
the main reason is that if you double-click a .sb file, it automatically opens in Scratch, we want people to be able to double click on a panther project and get it opened by the correct program, hence the new extension.
