...What a waste of time.

Sounds like fun...what languages are you learning? I notice you have another forum post about learning Greek over here:

Learning another language can be very helpful if you do any traveling. Plus, it can really help you expand your vocabulary (if you study Greek or Latin).

I believe that Common_Sense is referring to the fact that the post gives no extra information. Although, that still wasn't a nice way to put it...
Anyway - congrats! I wish I could learn German and Italian - I know a little bit of Italian, and I speak French pretty well. I'm not allowed to start learning another language formally until I'm almost 15, though, so I have just under a year and a half to wait... I could learn it informally, but I learn better when I have a teacher who can correct me on grammar, pronounciation and suchlike, rather than an audio tape, which... can't. Good luck!

This year I'm learning German at school.
Lucky!
I have to learn Japanese. It's not much fun.... But it'll probably be worth it later in life.
Maybe... So, TPCK, what languages are you learning? At first, when I read the title, I thought you were learning programming languages...

I'm in Spanish 1 right now. I'm planning on taking one more year of Spanish, and then starting German.

Cool! In school, we choose whether to learn French or Spanish (for 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th), so I chose Spanish
