Re: Scratch 2.0 Ideas

I think Scratch should come with block packages that contain scripts of simple things like movement.

Excellent idea! This has been requested for a long time, and one Scratch user even modified Scratch to include this: they called it BYOB (Build Your Own Blocks); you can find it here.

Re: Scratch 2.0 Ideas

I really think scratch 2.0 needs to reduce lag, because if a project has sound, it tends to lag A LOT!!

I think he means something like having a project with a bunch of sample scripts, like a bunch of movement scripts, a project with special effects scripts, etc.  smile  Though I'm not completely sure.

I think it's a bad idea. We shouldn't just have prepackaged little scripts to do much of the work for you. Sample projects work fine.

Re: Scratch 2.0 Ideas

1. Non-Download-able projects (As an option. Need those!)
2. Updated sound blocks (Meh. They're kinda laggy.)
3. Hide/show mouse (Eh, this is just for visual design.)

Scratching that nasty wart on my back since 2009!
