the vast majority of the kids at my school think rated M means nothing and nothing at all.

Rated M is usually 15 isnt it? And then there are the M 16+
The only ones that are 18+ are A games which usually contain explicit material

without m games i would die.
in fact they're so popular in kids that i can honestly say i do not know a single person my age who does not own an m game.

M games can be tasteful, and anyone who thinks only M games can be good was probably dropped on the head a few times. (Cough, Infamous)
"Ooh I added blood so now I'm all edgy and it's for older people. Watch out!"
^ Not tasteful

Nothing is mild in this world.
Except "Mild Salsa"
You need it hot to make an impression on you, most of the time of just pick whichver has the hottest.
And back on track, most of the games i play are rated 18+/M but they are the only good ones really. Some should't be and some should be but thats the way it goes.

On topi- oh just forget it. Anyway, M means Mature about 15+, but to me, even though I am only nine and a GIRL I think that it means ignore it and play it.

I think "M" means a really creep-o game, with lots of innapropriate pictures and zombie-killing and stuff like that. I play guitar hero, but thats "T".

My dad is a gamer, and he decides what "M" games I'm allowed to play.
I can play
Perfect Dark
L4D 1 and 2
Halo series
And technicaly, I'm allowed to play Call Of Duty, as my dad LOVES Call Of Duty, but I hate it.
I'm 11, BTW.

That is very bland.
Bland joke or bland salsa?
Well, that's rather the point then. It's mild, after all.

The salsa. I only eat worthy salsa.
And jalepeno jelly. Yum.

I wouldn't say so. A lot don't like the idea of 10 year olds virtually shooting people's heads off.

This is what M means to me.
M means:
You're not allowed to buy this game, and you know it. It has violence, blood and gore, and it's not appropiate for people your age.
Buy it anyway, because it has swords and cool stuff.
First off, you look at my signature.
Heehee.
I like Assassin's Creed. That's an example of an M-rated game.
Also Prototype. Don't even look up that game, it's really, really bloody.
Phoenix Wright: It's rated T, actually.
I know alot of boys like me, except they play shooting games instead. Then I tell them I like AC.
"GIRLS PLAY VIDEO GAMES??
"
"What?"
"I thought they only play dress-up games!"
"Wowww, really man? Really?"
I'm just used to 'explicit material'. Oh okay, frequent swearing. I don't care. Kay, disembodied limbs. So? Smexual references. Okay, that's a bit different. No wait, I don't care about that either. I'm so used to it these things barely do anything to me at all.
I mean, at least I'm not drinking alcohol and doing drugs. THAT'S a whole other story.
Am I a bad person? Hehe.

When it comes to swearing, theres no point in keeping it away from me, even if it's rated E, I'm just one great big bag o' profanity.
