are we not using scratch to make interactive projects?

hello.

i have seen a lot of tokis, anthros, and other stuff on scratch that i would put into the category, "miscellaneous". although many fail to realize this, art and the non-programmed/barely even programmed projects have bombed the scratch servers. some are respectable (Mahoashley before HI SHIFF), Others are simply pointless to me (Many of the anthro projects, i do not like those. there are way too many anthros created in >gasp< ONE....YEAR  mad ! this is not truly an MMORPG, fellow scratchers:mad:!

at least make some interactivity in projects!

now, do not just say, "but <play sound[ and <when[SPACE]key pressed><next costume> ARE PROGRAMMING!"

yes, they are, but, if that is all you can do, it can become habit-forming. and dont even say "BUT I TOOK 2 HOURS TO MAKE THIS PICTURE ONLY 4 U TO INSULT ME!" some of these programmers on scratch take MONTHS to make projects! 2 hours is NOTHING compared to what PLAYWITHFIRE's scratch bash's development period was.

now, if there were more interactive projects on scratch, it would be a great help. but for now, scratch on!  smile

You should be aware. They could ban you for this (Because it's programmer vs. art flame-worthy)

To quote something from the Scratch Team:

The Scratch Team is aware that there are tensions within the community but at this time there are no restrictions on the kinds of projects that are accepted (as long as they are appropriate).  Please do not try and make different segments of the community feel that they are not welcome.

The MIT Media Lab, that created Scratch, is interested in enabling digital creativity in ALL forms - not just programming.  The fact that art with music (and without it) has become so popular is an interesting aspect of the Scratch project that, while unexpected, is certainly welcome.

Macnoob, please do not make those that create anthros and non-interactive art feel unwelcome in the Scratch community.
