We've got someone looking into that right now. Nothing is likely to happen soon, but it's on our radar at least.

Can't you get it if you have wifi?

On Android? I don't think so, seeing as it's not capable of running Windows or Mac programs, at least I think. I'm not so familiar with Android, though, so I very well could be wrong.

True,

Maybe you could create your own portable scratch device! The "Scratcher". And make it known!

I have the scratch project viewer for iPhone/iPod touch/iPad. I've got no clue why they stopped selling it, Maybe it was because scratch didn't want people making that much money, that app cost me $2.99!
Epicly fails on everything but the iPad though.

Nope, apple removed it from the Apple Store.

yes I also really feel that scratch should get the site geared up for ipad, and specially iphone...becoz it would be too easy then to discuss the and share ....
And also the the site also needs a good redesign and theme to be updated.

Great. Without that, we can never view scratch projects on the web.

I really think that scratch would be great on the iPad... to make the projects, and to view them... I have one and I think it needs one thing... scratch. The large iPad screen gives plenty of room to work on the scratch interface, and the space on the iPad (depending on which model) is more than something like a mobile phone.

Scratch is supposed to be free. Especially given the liscensing they have, they aren't allowed to sell it for money.
It could be under free, like flipnote studio and the internet browser. They could ask nintendo to NOT give them money for it.
Just my idea.

you could play scratch games on psp if you could find a way to convert it to a .ISO format but you would have to find a way of controling it
It does not have to be an iso. It can be a swf! As long as it's Flash 6 or less, it will run there. On the Wii, I think it's Flash 7.

Should this topic be for Scratch on all other devices, not just portable ones? I think so.

That's why I suggested the topic to be for all other devices...

That would be so awsome because i spend hours on my itouch anyway why did they delete the scratch app that they had before?

I think that Scratch on mobile devices has huge potential, but most projects used on computers just wouldn't work right on a small touchscreen device, and vice-versa. (Keyboard and mouse pointer vs. finger gestures being the main problem.)
There definitely should be separate versions for computers vs. mobile devices, with the option of making your project cross-compatible. (If it would work fine on both types of devices.)

It was something with Apple... the people that made the application aren't to blame.
I'm not sure what was the exact reason, though.
