There's one thing that's always annoyed me.
If you use an "offensive word" for it's actual meaning, or as part of something's name, it will be removed.
Example:
"ßastard sword"
That is not offensive, it just means a sword of shady nature (you can't call it 1 handed or 2 handed).
Can this be changed?

The best way would be to remve the censors and delete a post+User if they use a word offensively. So like, censors by Moderators.
But all post contents will be shown until a moderator gets to it - which can take a while...

My problem was that a moderator did see an image I posted with the word ßastard sword and removed it because it was considered offensive.

Oh... so the point is for the moderators to allow it, rather than to edit the list of censored words?
For this case, I suppose it's okay...

I agree.

Yeah, I'm asking for it to not be removed if posted in a non-offensive way.

Maybe if the "offensive language checker" scanned a couple words behind and in front of the word to find out how it is being used...

I don't think it works like that - it works by simply having a list of words that get replaced by a given character (an asterisk).

I agree entirely - in fact, having owned a punbb forum for over a year (it's still active!), I know that the censored list of words doesn't care at all what's in front of or behind the word. It would be difficult to program and somewhat unnecessary - you can get around the spam filter if you're using it in the right context.
