Just wait to you get to... I won't say- it might scare you.  big_smile  You're lucky compared to my 6th grade experience. My school didn't have any accelerated classes and they wouldn't let 6th graders take 7th grade math. We did simple stuff all year- you know what I mean- fractions, factors, primes, (very) simple geometry, etc. At the end of the year we did some "algebra." In other words, we solved simple (as in 4x+5=25) linear equations  tongue  Yuck.

tongue  I skipped 5th this year and still do math a grade ahead  tongue

You're lucky that your school allows that.

scince 3rd grade I did math a grade ahead and when we moved the elementary schools only went k-5, so we skipped.

Re: Math Expectations. .

I actually skipped grade 7 math to do grade 8 math. Since I'm in grade 8 now, I'm going to a highschool every day to do grade 9 math, then taking a taxi back to my normal school. This means that in grade 12 I don't have to take math at all!

Am I correct?

First one is, not sure where you're going on the second one, lulz, i failed math.

Look at the last equation of each problem to see my real answer
