There was a cockroach that came out of the sink at my classroom. A few days later, a scorpion came out.

Also, the sink and the fountains probably had a different pipe set.
Like the sink in my art class. Every few months we have to clean it and all the paint and garbage that washed down there. It smells worse then raw sewage. If that was connected to the fountains, everyone would be dead or dying

Today at my school, somebody left an empty water bottle and chocolate milk container right behind the bowl thingy where the water goes at the best water fountain in the school.

The reason that I don't dink in school water fountains is because it is usually contaminated with spit. When i'm thirsty I don't want spit, I want water. So I bring water from home in a metal water bottle (Stainless Steel).

My schools, and most public places where I go - have fine water.

But what do you mean 'water fountains'? You actually have fountains!? COOL!

We just have bubblers, as we call them:

We had those at my elementary school. For the most part the middle school ones are a lot colder, but the water stream comes up a lot less further than if you use those.

You know, pure water doesn't conduct electricity. 100% pure H20 doesn't conduct electricity. Isn't that wierd? So for the last millions of years, something's been contaminating our water, making it conduct electricity.

(also, pure water has absolutely no nutritional value. I'm not saying water should have nutritional value, but think of all the protein you're getting from dead bugs!)

Scotland's water is fresh from the *very* nearby mountains' reservoirs. American water tastes horrible by the way. Well, Floridian at least.

I drink clean mountain spring water from Colorado (tap), and I went on vacation to Michigan, and it tasted like lead. tongue

bottled water takes more water to make it then what's in it, like 6 bottles of water to make one.

not sure how, something to do with power needed to produce it.

also i'm in BC and water tastes fine here because we've got so many mountains. in fact i live on a mountain with a creek right beside me lol.

Lead doesn't have a taste. Which is why it's more dangerous; then you don't know if your water is poisoned.

I live in Kentucky and the water was great. Then I went to Florida (which was mentioned to have bad water earlier in this thread) for Disney World, and the water was terrible.
