Galaga "Enemy Death Sound"?

I found a Galaga "enemy death sound" to use in my new project, but I don't know how to edit out the "shot sound" from it.

Could anyone do it?

Using Audacity. It's a free and easy to use sound editor - you might find it useful for things like this.
