Here's where people can talk about Nerf guns (not chat, stay on topic).
I'm a longtime lover of Nerf guns, but up until now, I've been borrowing my Nerf guns from friends. Recently I bought myself a bandolier and Raider CS-35 for a game of Humans Vs. Zombies, and I was treated at the end with a lovely Maverick Rev-6.
Anybody else enjoy Nerf guns? Please tell me about your Nerf stuff and experiences.

My first experence with Nerf was a Nite Finder EX-3. I thought it was cool, until I realized I only had Streamline Darts, which don't work in the EX-3. I was young, and handy with a screwdriver, so I did something I regret now. I took it apart. I was Nerf-less until I got a Maverick REV-6. I LOVED it. I shot everything with it. 2 years later, I got a Recon CS-6 for Christmas. It was broken out of the box. The cocking mech got stuck after every shot. A few months ago, I tried to fix it. I ended up breaking it. By then, the Maverick was old and worn out. I still have it, still a working Nerf, but it doesn't shoot very far anymore. I love as much as I can love a inanimate object, but it is "on death's door". Last Christmas, I got a Raider CS-35, and stole a Secret Strike AS-1 from family. The Raider kicks butt, but (lol butt but) the S.S shoot farther, because it works on air pressure, not springs. So there is my past and present arsenal:
* Nite Finder EX-3 (rest in pieces)
* Maverick REV-6 ( Hold in there, old buddy!)
* DEFECTIVE Recon CS-6 (rest in pieces)
* Raider CS-35 (ULTIMATE GUN!)
* Secret Strike AS-1

What makes a nerf gun so great? I played with them once, but my friend shot my eye with a pellet D:

Its a WHOLE lot better then getting shot by a paintball or a BB Pellet. Trust me. If you get shot by a paintball then you can get broken bones or bruises and if you get shot by a BB Pellet then it can penetrate your skin and make you bleed.
I don't think a piece of flying foam can break your bones.

My review for my Nerf guns...
Raider CS-35
-----------------
Pros: Comes with 35 bullet clip! Egad, that's cool!
Quite light, your arms won't be sore lugging it around all day.
Nice design, fits perfectly in your hands.
Speedy cocking is a plus.
Cons: Really? How are you gonna reload 35 bullets and not get killed?
Jams. Jams with bullets. Jams with Slam Fire.
Shoot a bit farther, please?

Oh yeah, I went round my fried who had them. I was given this small little pistol. (no idea what the model blar blar was) which I wass pretty accurate with. Though I had to be. It only had 1 shot

Maverick Rev-6
--------------------
Pros: Shoots far. VERY far.
Cons: Cocking. Most annoying cocking ever.
6 bullets?
NO CLIP??????

if you know me and my nerf guns, you know I have the most accurate reviews
best guns (without price worries):
#1: Raider CS-35 (okish range, key feature is the new magazine, semi-auto adds even more good usage)
#2: Magstrike "rapid 10 fire" (in a way better than the raider, to ready a blast takes awhile to load, but firing it off is devastating, the range might be farther than the maverick and the bullets go so fast they actually hurt slightly, beware...)
#3: Maverick (newer versions sucks, have a tendency to jam and fire less farther, if you have an old one the range should be epic and the easy on-the-go loading is really useful)
#4: Rapid 20 fire (this beast unleashes 20 bullets at a very fast rate and will easily provide a good clearing out of the enemy, though loading takes awhile)
#5: longshot (range is fairly good, but combined with the clips is really good, if you have a barrel clip with it, it is really powerful)
BTW I own a total of 19 nerf guns, this is an pic of an older collection awhile back:
oh and these guns are ones that look good, but really aren't:
Recon: worst range EVER, and only has one clip, only bonus is the red light point
Vulcan: this is odd, reloading is hard and long, but the blast is pretty good, however the range is very truly random, don't plan on hitting your target)

and if u stretch the springs the range is always good XD
btw i wouldn't recommend it, people often lose pieces.

My friend has a lot. I slept over @ her house, we raided the sugar, and ran around like crazy people in PJs... because that's what we were.

I want to play HvsZ, but it'll probably be about 6 or 7 years 'cause I'm only in middle school.
