Mockup Software

When making mockups for the forums, my pictures are not of the greatest quality. I use MS publisher 2003 which is a little outdated. I want to know what you use to do mockups, so I can look into some new programs.  wink  Thanks!

Well, when I'm doing mockups of the Scratch program, I hack into the source code and do a little mock-up of that. And I don't do mockups of the Scratch website  smile

I hack the source code (usually) to get blocks and things that I need, such as blur effect. To keep it, I grab screen region for new sprite.

Well, Paint.NET is a good image editor, and I guess it would be adequate for any sort of mockups. If I were to do a mockup, I would turn to PDN.

I use Windows Paint. But to remove the construction zone, I use GIMP - it's so easy!
For block mockups, normally I edit the system browser - but BYOB will work as well (I used it once, since I had it up).

I usually use MS Paint... I prefer it for mockups because it's a no-frills software (unlike GIMP or Photoshop - transparency is nice for some things, but it doesn't really add anything to mockups)... I use GIMP for making graphics for projects (mostly unreleased  tongue ), though...

Hey look no further, I have the ultimate (and free) solution!

-Go to aviary.com

-use their Falcon to capture the screen

-edit in pheonix


It's all completely free and no download needed!

3/2 people have problems with fractions.
