So many projects around. Looking for a couple of popular projects that a 12 year old can finish in 2 or 3 days (during summer raining days).

Most projects aren't that long, but Colkadome has some good puzzle games that take a while to complete. I'll give links to the good ones.
Cube - Platformer
Gamma Guider
Portal 4.0
They're pretty good - and take a while to complete (together they might make 2 or 3 days, I'm not sure). Enjoy!

Those projects don't take that long - wait, LINE should do the trick!

For most people, they just can't win. This will probably work for days...

I think a good idea would be to have them learn how to create a scroller.
Here are a few examples:
See Chrischb's project
This will show you and your students how to scroll.

Well, something could be built around this quickly: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/justtestingstickman/949736
The programming is simple, and it's easy to edit.

If you mean programming, asking kids to download one of many game templates(Pre-programmed "engines" that users can edit to make games.) would be good. 2 days of working on that would be good! Archmage has a lot of tutorials and templates that are free to download and edit.
