Well,I have a problem (obviously). I've had a migran for the past two days, and I can't seem to shake it. I've tried Motrin,Tylenol,Advil Migran, ice packs, cold baths,EVERYTHING! Can someone tell me something that I haven't listed above that might help? Also,I might be Hypoglacimic. Can someone explain EXACTLY what that is? My freind told me on the bus but had to leave before she told me what it was.
This is gunna be ignored. Obviously. I'll just go crawl in my dying hole now. *sigh*

I get migraines too. In fact, I missed a field trip yesterday because of one. Have you tried lying down and not doing anything too strenuous? If these are frequent occurences, you may want to see your doctor about getting a prescription for it. (And getting off the computer helps too
) Gosh I sound like a doctor.

) and it somehow made it worse. Any little sound is like an explosion. It couldn't be related to Rhotovirus could it? Because I've had that before and this is EXACTLY what happened before we foud out. (And now im strssing myself. ;( )

Hypoglycemia or hypoglycæmia is the medical term for a state produced by a lower than normal level of blood glucose. The term literally means "under-sweet blood" (Gr. hypo-, glykys, haima).
Hypoglycemia can produce a variety of symptoms and effects but the principal problems arise from an inadequate supply of glucose as fuel to the brain, resulting in impairment of function (neuroglycopenia). Effects can range from vaguely "feeling bad" to seizures, unconsciousness, and (rarely) permanent brain damage or death.

I'm hypoglycemic as well, but probably not to the extent that most hypoglycemics are. However, I might know what is going on as I experienced the same thing not too long ago. Preceding the headaches were blurs in my vision, just these patches in which the colour seemed to be skewed around. However, the headaches ended up being linked to dehydration, so if you drink a big glass o' water and wait a bit it might clear up.
But that might just be for me. In any case, a big glass o' wahtah is (I think) a good idea if you have a migraine.
