Yep, I was planning to install Mac on this old thing, but I didn't want to buy the OSX card. And then I decided, "No, never mind, I don't care anymore, besides, this violates the EULA."

I'm working on making a distro using susestudio. I'll give you a link if i ever finish it. If you want to try susestudio it's in private beta, but you get an invite in about 10 min.

The first computer I ever used was my dad's old Mac running System 6. I forget how old I was when I first tried it out but probably around 5-6... and it was so old it broke in less than a month. Then a few years later, dad got an old computer running Windows 95 that he got from someone he worked with. I don't remember much about it other than there was an old game called Hover on it that I played for hours. Then that computer broke somehow.
It wasn't until 2006 that we got a new computer (a PowerBook G4, obviously a Mac) that still works, and was also the first one I had with an internet connection. Then in 2008 I got a Macbook Pro that I'm typing on right now. It runs Mac OS 10.5 with a Windows XP partition, but having them both on a single HD takes up a lot of space.
Anyway, that's my story. Exciting, right?

And then we got Vista which is a piece of junk!
ours we had to take into the shop, had its hard drive and motherboard replaced, then after we moved, we still had to brainwash it and turn it back to factory settings

I remember my first computer that I built myself (with some help from my stepdad). It was a really slow desktop that ran fedora 9 or 10. It only had 12 gigs, but the heck, I miss Raven. (Yep, I named my computer... my cell phone has the same name
) But now I have a reasonably fast Toshiba running windows 7 (Wanna try dual booting so I can begin learning perl again)

I first had a Win 98 comp using either a i486DX or a Pentium I. I don't remember it much. Still have it (disassembled). Next, I had a Win XP comp (CUSTOM MADE by Cyber Power) with the following:
* AMD Athlon XP 2100+
* Nvidia GeForce 4 series graphics card (later upgraded to ATI Radeon 9600 XT)
* 1 GB RAM
Now I have a HP Pavilion dv7-1000 notebook with:
* 2.4 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo P8600
* Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT
* 4 GB RAM

This first laptop, I remember, my parents buying, was a Dell Inspiron. It sucked. I don't remember details, but it was given to me, while my dad bought a Gateway. Then, we got 2 IBMS, and the computer I'm using now is a Dell Inspiron 1545(i think):
15"screen
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.6 GHz
WLED display
Intel Graphics
Windows 7
DVD 8x optical drive
Yeah. My history.
