Create a "Chit chat" or "General Discussion" forum?
The "Show and Tell" forum is almost overtaken by topics that are not "Show and Tell"
If there was a general/chit chat forum, and a reminder sticky topic in the forums to keep "show and tell" for "show and tell" or go to "chit chat", it might be of better use.
Also if the "Show and Tell" forum was better advertised- like on the front page as a way to get attention to your projects- it might help the problem of people spamming front page projects. (Or maybe scrap it for this 
).

Thats a great idea! Its much better than having to talk to people by commenting on projects 
We could post all sorts of topics on whats new and stuff!!
