Re: Using a slider for a varible?

Just right click or double-click the variable. You can choose either normal readout, slider or large readout. If you right-click on it, you can also set the min and max the slider can go to.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Re: Using a slider for a varible?

You can use a slider by right clicking on the variable display. It can be used for a lot of things - you could use it to allow the user to change the tempo in a music project, or pen size in a paint project, or the costume number in practically any project - the possibilities are almost endless! I hope this answers your question  smile

No question is too basic  smile

Go to varibles and make sure the varible you want is checked so the varible should be on the stage. Keep clicking the varible until you get the slider.

You can't (why would you want to do it anyway?).

You can learn more about variables in greenflash's projectsmile
