Okay. I want to know how Tanner-FBI's Cube World got SO popular. I mean, (no offense to Tanner-FBI), There are a lot more, should I say, better-coded games on Scratch. Some extremely awesome games get so little comments, but, (again no offense to Tanner-FBI), Cube World's scripts and graphics are kind of mediocre.I know it has an okay storyline but I still want to know why it's so popular.

I have to agree with you, archmage. A lot of the projects that get on the front page aren't that great, but that's just the way that it goes and it'll probably be like that for as long as Scratch lives. As for the music, I think you're right. It seems to hypnotise me.

True that! Almost everything with hamster dance in it gets popular.

i think that its because of the music too, but the boss and people, did tanner-fbi really draw thos characters or did he get them from somewhere?

People like to know whats popular. I think they all get attracted to it because of the large number of views. I myself am a HUGE cube world fan. I like it because of the story and because it is an easy game but a little bit of a challenge. The music is cool but it is not my favorite part. A lot of people see it just for the music. I don't.

Yeah, Sonic vs. Shadow isn't THAT popular because it's pretty much just a rivalry between Sonic and Shadow. BUT I divided it up into different parts so that I have more time to think than just 1 REALLY BIG movie!!!!!

I don't think he made the people, I KNOW he didn't make the boss.
I guess it's because it was number one on the top loved section of all time, so new people saw it and thought it was a decent project.
IMO it's one of the most pathetic series on scratch.

At first i was like this is cool, but then I realized how glitchy it is.

Me too. And juststickman, if you think it's the most "pathetic" series on Scratch - well, clearly you haven't seen some of the projects on here. It's not bad, but there are several projects which are quite a bit better.

I know how bad some things are, but I call it pathetic because of how popular it is. Seriously, there are comments like:
"cube world is the best series ever!"
"this is the best game on scratch!"
"I'm your biggest fan!"

Well I know Tanner pretty well and I love his Cube World games. Why? I just like the idea of a classic platformer. The storyline is pretty well done. It has a catchy tune to it. Also it may have to do with fad. Everybody knows about Cube World. But how did it get so popular? I still have questions myself, but thats my opinion on the debate. SF44 out.

Wait, so classic to you means lack of physics, good graphics and length?

It doesn't even have correct gravity.

That's what I meant by lack of physics.

How does it not have correct gravity? Is it the walking through walls thing?
