The Scratch dictionary

Hello,

I got the Idea to make a dictionary. There are some words new users couldn't understand  smile 


0-9

60secondrule, 60 second rule, 6sr = A rule that disallows users to post in less than 60 seconds from another post.

A

AdvT, Advance Topics = See "Scratch mod".
Archived forums = old forums

B

Ban, banning = getting blocked from the Scratch site/the forums.
Banned = See "I got banned".
Block = A scratch block.
BYOB = Build your own blocks

C

Collaboration = Multiple users work together for one project
comp = Computer
cuz = because

D

Day = See "Scratch day".

E

I didn't find entries for "E".

F

FMT = Abbreviation for "floatingmagictree"
Forums = The scratch forums.
Forum mod = A moderator for the forums.

G

Gallery = a gallery for multiple Scratch projects.

H

I didn't find entries for 'H'.

I

I got banned = I got blocked from the Scratch site.
I got unbanned = I got deblocked from the Scratch site.

J

I didn't find entries for 'J'.

K

I didn't find entries for 'K'.

L

Lcat, Languages category = Search here for your language.
LTL = Abbrevistion for "littletonkslover".

M

Misc, Miscellaneous, Miscellaneous forum = A forum for discussing non-scratch stuff.
mod = See "Scratch mod" or "Forum mod".

N

New user, newbie = new Scratch user

O

Other languages = Post here if you want to post in a language that isn't listed in the Languages category.

Requests = Post here if you need anything (except answers for questions).

Scratch = The programming language Scratch.
Scratch cat = The default sprite of scratch. Copyrighted.
Scratch day = http://day.scratch.mit.edu/
Scratch mod = A hack of Scratch.
Scratch skin = See "user interface".
Scripts = The Scripts that makes the sprite moving/blinking/etc.
Shop = A topic in the "Requests" forum where you can ask for that for that the topic has been made.
Sprite = A graphical object with scripts.

Scratch Mod would either mean "Scratch Moderator" or "Scratch Modification"...  hmm

I don't believe Panther was the first Scratch mod ever. BYOB came before that, and Chirp can be technically considered a Scratch mod.

Isn't there already an "ALMIGHTY SCRATCHTIONARY" stickied in All about Scratch? I don't think we need two Scratch dictionaries.

Yeah, this is pretty much like mine, just not quite as detailed though. To make it better try finding more entries and describing them. If a new user were to come to this currently he probably would not understand many things. Pictures are also pretty helpful.
