whow whow whow whow.... did you just say flagged? your making yourself look like the enemy!
anyway i talked to ekekcole. she said that she was making some sort of system that would tell if the project/gallery was inappropriate or not. (she said something about 3 agents thinking that its inappropriate then its inapropriate)

I don't think so, otherwise every Press the Button project would be deleted by now.
Also, I don't know much about the Scratch Agents, but from the descriptions that people are giving I think it might be a good idea to shut them down.

^^^ no no no no no. i dont know what the deal is with darossi. i think he/she is just having trouble moving on.... you just have to its part of life, and be thankful none of your other projects were considered inappropriate.

..... you spelled my username wrong.....
Anyways, just shut Scratch Agents down. Too many people say SA isn't right, so being an agent isn't giving you any "rep". I joined when Scratch Agents wasn't a bunch of tattle tales.

I'm not to sure. If you look at it from one point of view they are totally great, but is there more to them the meets the eye.
Well from past experience they all have short tempers (not very good) and do they flag the right projects?
Say you made a 'shoot 'em up' game, someone such as ekekcole, craftgirl or maki comes up and says 'This is an un-suitable project, delete it at once!'.
However, your game is totally fine apart from red coloured 'blood' in it. No swearing, no hating, no explict scenes. Nothing but a little red colour!
You think your game is fine and you don't delete it. The 'Scratch Agents' go to their gallery and talk about you behind your back for a bit, then the all flag it at once. Unfair! Now he's the thing once a project is flagged by so many people, the Scratch team might think that you aren't very nice, and ban you!
You have just been banned/muted/or at worst IP banned. All because of blood. Not great.
Now they also keep 'an eye on' users with user names which include blood, fangs ect.
You are under 24/7 watch from average kids. They could be younger or older than you.
So are you listening? Do you think 'Scratch Agents' are good or bad?
Think about it!
Hmm i wonder y ur against against them. Probaly because u were muted and banned from scratch agents.

Yes, I agree that flagging an inappropriate project for no good reason is wrong, but I also feel that flagging is a good method when done by someone mature enough to not be offended by a little bit of blood or gun handling. So, yes, that is bullying, sort of... but you can always use the "ignore" function or tell the Scratch team about it, but even if the Scratch team looks at it, they might say, "Wait a minute... this project isn't inappropriate at all! This must be some sort of mistake!" and not take it off of the Scratch site.
Yes, I know not all of the Scratch Agents are bad, and they only flag the really inappropriate projects, but as The Sorcerer said, people have a natural desire to be in control of something, or someone... but that doesn't mean that we should. God wants us all to be equal, all special, and all loving to one another, but in the "Scratch Agent Bullying" case, love and care is not what we're seeing. We're seeing bullying, disrespect, and uncaring of other peoples' feelings.
So I think it's about time this bullying stops! We should all contact the Scratch team at MIT, and tell them about this. This has to end, people! And we... the scratch members... are the ones who can make it end. Thank you.

No! People this thing was started by Toasty to be against cyber-bullying. The real "protectors" of scratch's innocent eyes are people like Myreneptune and kevin karplus! This is a bunch of members with good intentions but horrible execution.

Well, my opinion is that Scratch Agents definatly has good intentions, but we should have a vote or a debate, the majority rules in flagging projects, if it doesn't offend the majority of the crowd, we won't flag it. BUT, if it is an emegency, (such as that ''Newest Project'' fiasco, the leader will contact us.
Also, about one Scratch Agent spazzing out about a shooting gallery game that has SOME blood, that rarely happens, and plus, us Scratch Agents won't also spaz out. We are not bullys, we don't gang up on people, we just flag projects that are REALLY bad, I mean there are 7-year-olds on this site! If our parents see this stuff, they will just say ''No more Scratch'', and I personally don't want that to happen. We don't want anyone banned, we just want to make sure Scratch is safe for everyone.
Personaly, I think DaRossi made this in order to give Scratch Agents a bad name. He is saying that he's a bully, yet a few monthes ago he spam-attacked me and other scrathers when he was Unreconise, who was in early MOPS *shudders*. How can some one so volital, and had to be BANNED from the Scratch Agents in order to cool down be even considered? Plus, he's only calling people who agrees with him mature? Strange -_-', there are MANY mature Scratch Agents who are mature. Of course, we are kids, but I was rasied to be polite in almost any situations(Some things make ky top blow, but I ain't telling) , and I bet there are many Scratch Agents out there who are the same.

This is getting out of hand. 4 threads, multiple opinions, danger of spamming, danger of letting pronmasters go free, Waffles, MOPS (What is that?). IT is a dangerous world we live in. Your guys problem.

I'll just say a few more words.. We're all starting to sound like a mob here,ok? As far as I can see, Scratch Agents are shutdown, regardless if they're still up & about. If the scratch community disregards their Dictative rule, and ignores them, we've shut them down. Think about it everyone, was scratch really all that bad before scratch agents existed? ok, we had bullies but they eventually got banned. and projects were never really a BIG problem...so once you think about it,Scratch Agents arent needed.

Thank you. That is what I have been trying to say all along on 4 different threads with 4 different tones.

Each Scratch member can flag a project on their opinion and not drag of the opinion of their leaders. Scratch Agents cant Stay, but we all as the community can make a Republic. This means we create an organization with the same goal as scratch agents, but, since it is a republic, The Scratch Community ELECTS the members who they want to serve In the Organization. Mature peole. It could be called The Scratch Republic of Peace Keeping, S.R.P.P (s,r, double p )
but its to you guys.
if yes,we'll mk goals.

Couldn't just everyone flag a project that is bad when they see it and move on with there lives? I mean, we don't need a group to do smothing that everyone can do anyway, do we?
Offline
well Bobby, some people dont even bother to flag, and wouldnt it take a load off of the community if they had organization that can do all the dirty work... Let's face it, i would want that...That way i can on playing Great games and not have to stop at a certain game, flag it, then type a paragraph of why, and possibly it'll stay, it'll already be done for me by an Organization filled with mature and reasonable people..
but like i said, its up to you as a community.

Yeah, I think that we need somthing like project moderators, that people like Andremsh and Mletreat chose, rather than a bunch of people that just want o flag projects.

Toasty never encouraged teaming up to flag projects. Personally I quite respect her points of view.

I once spam attacked. And I'm very sorry for it now. Everyone does wrong time from time. Lets not blame people for their past.

Wow, this is turning into a major topic... maybe we should contact the Scratch Team and tell them about it... even though they probably know about it already. http://www.freewebs.com/jomanratedg

Scratch Agents have fixed the flagging system, it's better now.
There is no agency!!!!!! It is just a bunch of members that are trying to do the right thing but are completely lost as how to do it!
You don't get special status for it, the admins haven't approved of it so it does not exist!
