Here's a Pokemon Region I made up...

Zapez Dex:
Sprouteo
Type: Grass
Dex Entry: Has leaves hanging from it's torso, when it spins rapidly it's leaves can easly cut through steel.

Razetrunk
Grass/Rock
Evo of Sprouteo
By rubbing the stones on its hands together, it can easly start fire. Though since they travel in packs and there bodies are mostly bark, one can start a Razetrunk fire.

Forestone
Grass/Rock
Evo of Razortrunk
Unlike Razetrunk, Forestone travel in packs of 3. The father, the mother and the child Sprouteo. The father Forestone will protect it's child at all costs.

Clawfisch
Water
With it's double sided fins (which look like claws) on both sides it can easly scale waterfalls. A trainer with a Clawfisch is said to invent the HM waterfall with his Clawfisch.

Spedgills
Water/Ice
Evo of Clawfisch
Despite being the evo of Clawfisch, it is actually smaller than Clawfisch, but the reason for this is it's thin gills and razor sharp fins and super strong tail make it the fastest unevolved pokemon ever. (besisdes pokemon that don't evolve)

Clashfin

Evo of Spedgills
Being a lot bigger than Spedgills it is even faster. It has special gills which take in water then propel the water out. The gills do this ever .6 of a second and every .6 of a second close to 95 gallons of water are pumped out. This makes it the second fastest pokemon ever behind only Deosyx Speed form.


Volcanus
Fire
Despite it's terrible speed, whenever Volcanus stay still, their internal fire burns all their organs forcing them to move at all times, less they literally burn to cinders.

Magnum
Fire/Steel
Evo of Volcanus
To prevent the effect of Volcanus's internal fire, Magnum's fire hides in the tips of it's steel claws. Fire will not come out of it's mouth, but sometimes Magnums stick there claws in there mouth then whistle to make a Pokemon Flamethrower.

Houndellum
Steel/Fire
Evo of Magnum
Houndellum are the only Pokemon to switch their main type when evolving. It can also create a hardened magma shell and then permentaly use it as a shell, despite it is a bipedal pokemon. It only has this shell if it is equipped with the Magma Armor, and that makes its Special Defense shoot up by 70. (base spd: 60) While its spa is already at 150. but its other stats are just in the 40s and 50s

(side note, Houdnellum's dex entry is much shorter i just added on stuff cuz i wanted to explain more)
