This would go under several categories. So I just put it here.
Scratchable is the newest Scratch magazine edited by me! I’ll release a new one every month.
What I’m looking for:
1. Advertisements
2. Articles
3. Quotes
4. One interview
1. I need people to add a banner or a graphic, text, etc to this thread for me to add it to the June edition. It’s free.
2. I need a couple articles. They should be at least 400 words or more in length.
Article topics:
-Thoughts on the Art vs. Games ‘war’
-Article describing what improvements you want to see in the forums
-What blocks you want to see in Scratch 2.0
You can add graphics, I will position them.
3. I need a few quotes:
-Something thought provoking
-Something downright hillarious
4. I need to interview somebody.
Just let me know if you’re interested in this sort of stuff.
What I need:
I need a logo. Can somebody please try to make me one?
I need an artist to make a half-screen cover about the ‘war’ between Art-makers and Game-makers that has now been put down. I will add other graphics later.
Note: Please do not argue about the AVG* topic.
*AVG: Art Vs. Games
DISCLAIMER: I will not take sides with the AVG issue.

Here's a quote from me if you write an article about warrior cats:
"Cook 'em them on High for an hour and you got yourself some good eats. Why buy chicken when you can just find a jungle cat?"

A downright hilarious quote:
"Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings."

Because you can eat a human.
I'll be interviewed.

Sure. I'll interview you and Dazachi. I'll post the questions as a comment on one of your projects, and reply with the answers.
Thanks, Lord-Sprites, and soupoftomato for those quotes!

I'll write an article about this. I get credit, right? I might become a regular journalist.

You could interview me,if you like. And,I'm full of quotes. My favorite: "Everything is meant to be broken; but love is the advesive that holds us together." Pretty much,I'm a last resort.

here's a rough draft for my article.
The Artists vs. Gamers War
Written By 16skittles
Recent times have been becoming more and more tense. Many scratchers have become annoyed by the art projects covering the front page, making it difficult to make the front page. What's more, many of them are "Add Yourself" projects, also known as "Chain Remixes", along with poll projects, are dominating the "Top Remixed" section.
Many scratchers have become the Programmers, who are trying to make games and programs fill the front page. Nearly everyone else are the Artists.
Many people have made topics on methods for "taking back the front page". The forums are often controlled by the gamers, the artists rarely can be found on the debate threads. Often the debates get heated, and eventually become flame wars. Many well-known people on the Programmers' side have become banned, and the Artists hardly suffer losses. In this way, it can be believed that the Programmers are tearing themselves down.
It is hard to see when the conflicts will end. The Scratch Team and forum moderators are having a difficult enough time keeping thing under control, this may result in the deletion of the miscellaneous section of the scratch forums.

Changes.
Change happens. Wether for good or bad, it does happen.
So I think I can safely say that I'm not the only one that thinks change needs to happen in Scratch. It may be in the forums you want change or maybe the front page, but change is needed if Scratch is to become a bigger and better community.
The front page. A huge acheivement for us all, but a let down if we don't quite cut the grade. But I'm afraid, it's this "not making it" that's causing unrest among the Scratchers, (mostly programmers). The programmers feel as though their projects are ignored, brushed to the side by a sudden childish fad of cats and dogs with "emo" fringes.
This may or may not be true. But that's not my point. The point is that you need to start doing stuff about it if your unhappy. Don't just vent your anger in the misc forum, insult other users and ultimately get banned, make suggestions. Suggestions are the key to change. You want change? Well make a difference, make sensible and honest suggestions, those are the thongs that will get you listened to.
There's my article.
