I've been waiting for this moment.
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back like six months ago in October, when Karmic Koala was released.
But now life has made a jump.
Not like off the cliff.
Like, forward.
And now Ubuntu 10.04 LTS is fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinally here! I'm so excited to try it out! After weeks and weeks of alphas, betas, gammas, omegas, pis, psis, omicrons, or whatever ancient Greek letters, It's now May and Lynx was released on April 29.
And now it's here.
It's here.
It's final-lully here!
No more time for expectasche, it's here! It's here!
Get your life a move on. (no commercial ad, completely free)

Downloading right away. Has Wubi updated yet?
I think, but I'm not sure, 'cause I'm upgrading directly from Karmic.

I'm really excited to upgrade, but I know it will take a lot of time. So I have to wait until things are a bit less busy - maybe later in the week.
I tend to keep on using the computer even while it's upgrading. I usually ignore anything that says "please close all programs" unless it forces me to.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like it has a CD drive. But all the applications for Ubuntu require only Internet access, so you can download, so maybe that wouldn't matter. Unless I use Wine with it, but I don't usually make use of it that much.
