Hi all,
I recently upgraded a computer running Ubuntu 8.1 to Ubuntu 9.1. It is my understanding that this upgrade, would allow the Sounds blocks in Scratch to work. It didn't. Someone suggested that I then reinstall Scratch. So, I downloaded the package and tried to install, but I keep getting an error message that says 'Failed to install package, Errors were encountered wile processing'.
Any suggestions?

This bug occurred while I was using Scratch on Linux a few years back. I'm not sure if it has been fixed, (but from your experiences it hasn't), and there was a page about this when I was using Linux. I'm not sure where it's gone, but if you look around I'm sure you'll be able to find it.

install it on a diffrent directory! I hope this helps!
