Please don't spam. This thread is for conversations in relation to the History of Scratch only, and banners are not related.

A thought... any ideas for chapters?

I just finished reading the whole book! WOW! It looks like you put a ton of time into it, and it is very informative! I like how you included quotes from users and the scratch team. I don't really have any ideas for chapters... I suppose you are pretty caught up with things, until another event happens... I saw that list of old Scratchers that are still active. Maybe I would fit in there. I joined in November 2007, and only about 5 Scratchers are still active from 2007, so maybe you could add me.

This is fun to read...I had forgotten some of these things. Very impressive and useful!

Wow I can't believe I hadn't noticed this
Nice history of Scratch, very comprehensive!
One thing, Scratch Day came at about the same time as 1.4 not 1.3.

No, there was a Scratch day around 1.3, and then another around 1.4.
EDIT: Oops! I confused the Scratch @ MIT Conference with Scratch day!

Cool! I was first used Scratch summer 2007, and thought it was mediocre.
In mid-February 2008, I accidentally clicked the Scratch icon on my computer, and then I was taken into the world. I used 1.1 for a while after 1.2 came out, and finally made the switch in mid-to-late 2008.

Shazam! Honestly, I was most blown away by how committed and passionate these people are about the Scratch project. This really got me pumped up about getting started.
Cheers!

Only one "Scratch Day" as far as I know. But there has also been the "Scratch Conference at MIT"

I think you're understanding it wrong...
I didn't rewrite it seven times - it's just that I change the number whenever I make an edit.

I would just like to point out that the link to the newest projects page in the oldest projects section doesn't work.
