What do you like to see in art projects?

LS wanted me to do a survey, so here it is.
What do you scratchers like to see in art projects? The reason for this poll is because everyone is complaining about art projects, but we at LS think it's because almost every art project is animals with or without emo fringes
This is not the place to say "Art projects are bad and shouldn't be on Scratch" (This means you, [insert half the forum community here] ) so go cry about that somewhere else, kthxbai. Please answer honestly and you can say more then one thing at a time.
I myself would like to see more robots

I'd like to see more background scenes. We have a lot of characters and sprites available on Scratch for use, but there are barely any backgrounds out there!

I think we should add a link to the SR in the top blue bar... they have some backgrounds!  smile

I mean backgrounds that fit the Scratch Stage perfectly.  tongue  SR is a good resource, but a majority of the time it doesn't fit to the proportions of the stage, which means it usually requires a modification or editing of some sort. (Hmm... maybe I should make a separate account to share my unused customized backgrounds done in Scratch so others can use them?  tongue )

Aside from backgrounds, maybe some houses would be nice, too.  smile

And exotic flowers, like those you find in the rainforest.

And unusual animals (like giraffes! And angler fish!  big_smile )

lol , I think my list is going to keep growing and growing.

Good quality, that's it really.

Apart from bloody fight scenes and massive scale wars (which I doubt will be allowed on scratch).

If you do make a seperate gallery for customized backgrounds i have some projects containing quite a few images..that might be of use.

Re: What do you like to see in art projects?

I don't like that fact that everything is those strange cats. I enjoy art when I see it, but when all I see is cats in the exact same style, I get bored.

And slideshows make me less aggravated.

Re: What do you like to see in art projects?

Art projects? hmm... shading, accurate coloring, overall just make it look like it took you a while and you didnt just slap it together in five minutes. And, make a add some scripting. Make it a tatorial, slidesow, or animation out of it.

Re: What do you like to see in art projects?

If it's a Scratch Project, it should have some programming that isn't just looping through costumes or playing music.

If it's something you'd put in dA or something, I have no idea... D:

I must beg to differ. The styles are quite different, usually. Compare WingsofStorm's to Pokemaster12's to Nikkiperson2's to mine. Quite different indeed.

Strange? That's the point  tongue

I don't feel like finding the links.  tongue  But, that's not what I meant by style anyway.

What do you mean then?

Unrealistic coloring styles. Then again, I've done that before.  hmm  (Not with wolves, but you know what I mean)

I find that many times, untrue. Plus, patterns like that add to ingenuity.

Fffffffff n00b, that's a fox.

You can tell by the coloring, markings, and features. The nose is pointer and the ears are too. And on on on.....
