there in a difrent class. ia ninja would have killed the samurai, and its who kingdom befor the samari even knows hes having a fight, wer as in face to face, samurai would be much better.

like myham said; "Whilst a samuri would probably win a fair fight, I vote Ninja, purely on the basis that they wouldn't fight fair."

Yeah, Right. If you had actually researched, you would know that Samuri were more than the common foot soldier. They were the Knights of japan. Ninjas, if they weren't urban legends spawned by samuria, were assasins.

There swords were and alloy of iron and other distinct metals, cooled in the exact tempature of water to bring about extremly sharp, durable and flexable swords which were better than the Iron ones the knight used because they did not snap under pressure.
The samuri used there swords as an extension of the arm and used very fluid movements that lost less energy than the hacking and slicing a knight did.
They also had bows and arrows sometimes, which were deadly on horseback.
The last thing they had going for them was there intense, sometimes sucidal loyalty and honor. If there lord told them to commit suicide, they would do so gladly with nothing asked or said. If captured by the enemy, they would commit suicide by taking there swords and cutting an L shape into there chests. This was deemed honorable and the enemys usually allowed it.


Ninjas: I have already shown my scepticalty that they ever existed. If they did, it wouldn't be like Naruto. They could not walk on water or stop swords with there bare hands. The walking on water myths were most likly spawned by witnesses to them while they escaped, where they sometimes put poles in the water to cross it. Ninjas were assasins, not good for up close for fighting. They also probably crept into houses at night, on orders from there own shogun to kill a rival.

I will not express my opinion to this vote but more so educate you so you have a tiny real backround and not just so stupid japanese TV show to guide your answer.
