Every day I find three or so new arguments in Miscellaneous, discussing about how animations are bad, art is bad, games are bad, RPGs are bad - most of those threads are closed in one day, despite the fact that they have already reached five or more pages!
More and more threads appear, and more and more flames appear.
At the same time, there's a scuffle about post counts - I'm passing you, NOOOOOOOOOO YOU PASSED ME, haha I passed you back, NOOOOOO I'M BANNED - that type of stuff.
It feels like the entire Miscellaneous community went mad...

I, for one, have not.
However, with all the threads with flames in them, Misc. will burn down.

Where's the nearest box of water hoses? They'll be useful when there are flames...
Honestly, I feel that there are too many arguments - and the arguments are vicious!

Yeah most of them that got closed was reported by me
It's a nice competition to get the highst post count. There isn't any, "arghhh die die die" sort of talk in that thread.

You still need a little more grammar practice.
Yes, we have gone mad. Does this have anything to do with the number of people starting to read death note?

*sigh* Why does everyone have to be so mean to each other?

I completely agree.
Sometimes I wish I could be with the moderators... - they haven't gone mad.

The only possible solution I see, and I know people are going to hate me for this, is to close the misc. forum. There's no other way to get past this unless the community bands together overnight. And who knows, they might do that just to save the misc. forum from deletion.
Don't take it the wrong way Chris, I'm not posting in your thread to help you, I just didn't want to make a new thread and this one fit the bill

Over exaggeration much?
Kids, moderators will not solve all your problems the moment you say you are being "targeted" or "bullied" as a sheer over reaction so just let it go.

When I said that, I mean like "talk" with the moderators.
Hmm... why do you dislike everything we say?

Most of what you say seems to be sucking up to the higher powers. Like teacher's pet, basically.
Get on topic peoples.

I hope that cleared things up, I wouldn't want the Scratch's best historian and writer to get the facts wrong.
PS: The real reason you have gone mad, is because the illusionist secretly over-bombarded you with over-complicated enigmas, double meanings to statements, and hidden analogies. Side effects include itchy or runny nose, and temptation to sign the death-note.

I noticed the amazing amount of work Paddle2See had gone through closing threads. I saw like 10 threads being opened and closed. Some even deleted.
I wasn't ever part of the conversation, I stayed to the little island of hope in the sea of chaos.
I hope my metaphors say something.

Yes! They do! Very deep...
It also somehow inspires me...
...I'm going to draw a map of Scratch...
brb...

I haven't gone mad
I'ld rather stay out of all of the arguments because I really don't care about them.

Same.
Once I came up with Reboku, and deleted it, I realized that art will never retreat anyway. So why argue?
@Illusionist: Strike two for annoyance, teasing, and beleaguering.

Hey, thanks for noticing!
Yes, there has been a lot of discontent of late...I put it down to too many idle hands. My advice: Take some of that energy and put it into making great Scratch projects.

No! I seriously thought it was a good idea.
And its almost done, and I'm getting the disappearing text glitch every three seconds...

I completly agree. Some (by some i mean ALL) of the arguments have gotten annoying (I'm one to talk. I'm in most of them, but I try my hardest to keep cool). As much as the small group of people who want us all to get along on Scratch try, I don't think this will ever stop.
It makes me really sad to see Scratch slowly being engulfed in flames and rants.
