Oh...My...God... O_O

There is a huge thunderstorm all over West Tennessee. In one hour we got NINE inches of rain. We had flash-flooded streets, overturned and submersed cars and firetrucks, tornadoes, and even a closed police station. But nothing could've prepared us for the worst... A sewage processing plant lost power and was putting out RAW sewage into the already flooded streets. I saw pictures of cars litteraly engulfed in... Uh... You get the point. Btw this happened in Memphis, where I live, but the plant was nowhere near us >:D

Nine inches in one hour?  That is huge!  Where's my kayak?  Actually, that's not a good idea...flood waters are often quite dangerous, what with all the debris and garbage.

In Barot, Guadeloups it rained 3.8 CM in one minute, which is 1.496 inches.

One of the worst possible scenarios (Which I fortunately haven't been in):
Tornado 100 yards from your house, and your basement is flooded with 7 feet of water.

No, this is: Your house is the epicenter of a major earthquake. (No, I have not experienced that)
