Yup, an artist RPGer's side of the story. It had to be done.
You're drawing a picture of a wolf, detailed and emotional. You spent 2 or so hours on it, and it's one of your best pictures yet . You decide to show you're RPGing friends, since it relates to the RPG. As you add some Linkin Park music, a song that fits with the theme of the artwork, you hum a little tune. Uploading.......done. As you log into you're account to see if anyone's on WOTF, you see a message. It reads:
Supahgamez: Art? Gimme a break.
Then you recieve another few:
Loljock: Another emo wolf with bangs? Get braced.
DNA527: Listen bud, Scratch isn't for your pussy little pup doodles.
Is that annoying you? As you send you're upset replies, more ignorant people comment. To cool off, you go on the forums. Oh goody, someone mocking RPGs. Seemingly, WOTF. Here's what you write:
"Guys, back off. -_- Is this nessesary?
Someone replies:
YUP.
Rebellion >:3
As if it wasn't bad enough.
*Might add to this later*

Don't tell us what we think of art. We know fine well that we think it's much worse than that.

Well maybe they're trying to send you a message.
MAYBE THEY'RE TELLING THE TRUTH< AND SAYING THAT SCRATCH ISN'T FOR RPG'ERS LIKE YOU!

Have you seen the programmers story:
You go on Scratch, you've worked for weeks to months on your best game yet. You upload it, expecting the front page. But to your dismay, there's a bunch of art on the front page of a programming website.

My side of the story:
You go on Scratch, wanting to have fun. You see a million people arguing over nothing. You get annoyed so you go on doing what you like to do.

WRONG. That is NOT interaction. We're talking about interaction WITHIN THE PROJECT.

Because I hate everyone and want to ruin their lives.
But not by RPGing and art.

Because everyone has an opinion.
Not always a different opinion though, the Scratch team is with me on this one.

I'll admit that Scratch isn't a social networking site, but I still support art.

Leave Scratch in peace. Spam projects that don't do anything somewhere else.

You could ignore the art projects.

Sadly, it seems the scratch team are on the side of the artists.
There are messages hidden everywhere, for example their featured choices (art, sub-interactive media), beta site example project (add yourself), the fact that they haven't removed the problematic sections and also the fact that they seem to like the artists/animators more than the remainder of the community.
We should book a domain called games.scratch.mit.edu

It's not the art that's causing disruptions in Scratch, it's you.

Naw, it's the art. Without that the person wouldn't be causing the disruptions in scratch.
Whatever you lead it back to art is the underlying problem, you can't change or work around that.
