So I'm checking out some projects in the newest projects section taht had the word "heck" in it. Then a user posted this (I won't say who because I might get a warning or something XD)
A little kid wrote:
I have reported this project for using 'heck'. Please refrain from using vulgar language.

If he thought that word was "vulgar language", then he shouldn't have said it in his comment.

LOL, he replied to me saying

Geez. What's the point of saying that a word's bad if you say it in your post?

I ripped into him so badly.
I wish he had a project, so then I could be like "I'm reporting this for using the word "Cat." As some users may be afraid of cats. Please do not use volguar (can't spell it) language.

It is tricky to know where to stop when you start trying to root out "bad" language. Everybody has a different upbringing and a different tolerance. I think the best we can do is to try to be polite and listen to our audience for cues that we may have stepped over the line and become offensive. Of course, you can listen to your Forum Moderators too, since they have to enforce the standards

I doubt that a little kid (or at least, that's what you said) would understand the meaning of "vulgar". And this will quickly shoot up to top viewed.

His comment should be reported for making people think like, "that."
