It's ok that people are leaving, you can't expect them to stay forever. A lot more people are coming in though and the amount of members is actually growing pretty quickly.

Yeah. Many people say they are leaving because no one looks at their forum topics or projects. Then people will start looking at them! Scratch isn't for publicity, it's for the programming language. For fun!
Archmage does have a point. People do just leave.

If they leave it's really meaningless... Chances are, if they were going to really contribute in the future they wouldn't have left, because they would have been interested.
But seriously just ignore them, because they are either 1) trying to get attention, or 2) not good at scratch/never would have made the effort to learn <--- the important part

what is the point of making a forum topic that advertises that they are leaving. yes, it answers the question: "where is (so and so)? they havent been on scratch for a long time.", but you can just tell one member so they can spread the word if anyone asks.

Yeah, I made mine in Flash, it has like 400 frames. It takes a bit to load but it's really easy to pick out.

There is no need to worry about .People come and go nothing to worry and also I accept with what Laine .They use this trick to trick people into looking into their things like projects,forum posts,gallery,gaming company.......Etc.
Maths has the basics for everything.
