Hmmmm . . . one sprite should hide but another identical one should appear.

Yes, please make levels  smile
Right now we should finish level 3 (some of it is already started as you can see).


My concern with making split paths is that because of the way I've scripted the enemies, only 1 will be able to appear at a time, which means one path will be better than others. If you think you can make it work though, go for it.

hmm, I'll think about it, but If I do, it will be on a small scale, and one path is safe, the other leads to death  wink

I also found a good sprite sheet that can go along with the evil underworld theme

Wait to program the boss. I have some very specific ideas for that. And right now I'm working on a version with comments. I'll send the version with some comments soon.

k, cuz i've got an awesome sprite for the boss, he's got two axe attacks and i've coded bosses before so no need to worry, anyway ill wait

also another idea, could we change it so that when u die you respawn back on land instead of at the beginning, it's penalty enough losing a life.

Yeah. I think we will make a check-point like system. Each level in Gods Quest 3 is divided into 4 sectors. The point of these sectors is that there is an enemy in each sector. But these sectors also work perfectly as checkpoints. When you die in a sector you go back to the start of it. We'll try and make that work once I send the latest copy of the game.

thats not what i meant i meant like far enough back that you wouldnt die, like a character link back or it could detect that platform.

just make it sense if its touching the platform and then if it is make it move a little farther back so that it stays on.

I'm sending out a new version.

Changes-
Tornado deals damage now
Some comments in the enemy's scripts (I got lazy  tongue )
Made some changes to instructions and stuff

Objectives-
Make the boss, I already have the core of the boss as you can see in the game, we have to finish and make it perfect
Complete level 3
Get background scrolling costumes for level 2-3
Change lightning bolt to lightning ball (click and hold to charge), for this we'll need sprites for a ball of lightning


(It'll be sent in a minute)
