Video Media in Scratch
Hi There!
I'm starting an attempt to extend Scratch video media support, like .mpeg or .avi or .wmv formats. I know there's some ways to achieve video-like through Gifs, but I want to develop a elegant alternative to this aspect of Scratch promoting a better media support.
I already have some basis on Squeak-Smalltalk and I'm searching right now for resources to help me accomplish this, but what I do want to know is:
- What you guys think of this 
- Anyone already tried something like this? How it was?
- Anyone knows a good starting point ?
- Any tips?

Good luck, There is a way for me to turn video files into seperate frames using an external programs, but it would be easier to do it within scratch. As Jd1 said, you'll probably need to make it a plugin for easier use.
