Comments (In-line)

Instead of the stick, annoying, glitchy comments we have now. Scratch needs in-line comments like it had in 1.2 beta. I found these incredibly helpful and made my life much easier when trying to comment my project, or understand someone else's code.

Re: Comments (In-line)

No! Those blocks looked horrible in scripts, and new users got confused because those blocks didn't do anything. (I wasn't around back then, yay!  big_smile )

I think the comments we have now are perfect - they can connect to specific blocks, and you can change their shape!  smile

Meh, but they always break the program and make it crash  hmm

The in-line comments were so much . . . cleaner.

Change their shape? No - they're only curved-edge rectangles - I don't see any triangle comment blocks do I?

Re: Comments (In-line)

I do think we should go back to the other comment blocks. Here's some issues with the current ones:

1. They make projects a TON more laggy, if you add a lot of them.
2. Do to the shaping process, they often just jump all the way to the very right, which looks bad, and is quite annoying.
