Oh, and if you want to solve k/3 = 36, you'd have to cancel out the /3 by multiplying it. You have to do that to both sides, though.

     k = 108

Inverse Operations, learnt that in 5th grade.

You just gotta know your negative and positive formulas for this type of question.(I believe); n+p=p and etc. Thats how I get 90s and stuff, I just listen to the formula and the operations and tone out the teacher. (why? She teaches PRE-algebra to these kids and I'm G/T.)
